You can post any recording to one or more of your Twitter accounts to share audio content with your Twitter followers.

Getting started: Add Twitter accounts [one or more.] Here is an example of how the Twitter update link will offer playback and other actions from the Page view.

Your Post to Twitter choices are:

  • #1 Post a recording to Twitter from your dashboard or page view
  • #2 Auto-post recordings to Twitter from any registered phone or Skype account
    • Optional: Add Prefix text to phone or Skype recording titles

Note: Recording security settings can be Public or Private.

#1 How to post a recording from your dashboard or page view

Step 1: Select the recording you want to post from your My recordings dashboard or from the Page view

My recordings dashboard view:

Step 2: Click the Twitter icon in the Post column in the dashboard view

OR the Post to Twitter link in Page view

Page view:

Step 3: Select one or more of your Twitter accounts by clicking on the box, then the forward arrow, and then Post. Done!

Your post will appear immediately in your Twitter update like this example below. We truncate the link to the page view for playback to fit it into Twitter’s 140 character limitation.

#2 How auto-post recordings from any registered phone or Skype account

You can set your phone or Skype accounts to automatically post recordings to your Twitter page.

Step 1: Go to your My account section > Social media > Twitter accounts

Step 2: For any of your registered phone numbers or Skype accounts, choose the Twitter account you are editing. Click on Edit to access the Twitter preferences page

Step 3: Optional: Add Pre-fix text for the title of phone or Skype recordings

Step 4: Click on the Enter button. Done!

To auto-post Public or Private phone or Skype recordings, or both, check the Public or Private boxes. The default setting: neither Public or Private are set at auto-post.

Want to undo any auto-post settings? Go to your My account section > Social media > Twitter accounts > Edit > Twitter preferences to change settings.
