What is the Evoca Media Services™ platform?
Our web services approach means there are no software downloads to perform by either your team or your end users. Your application simply makes API calls to our media platform, and gets back customized Flash players, recorders and audio files. Our developer team uses the best software protocols and architecture to create an enterprise-grade multimedia platform that works when called upon. Some of these tools are: JAVA, REST, XML, JSON, FLASH, and SSL. These building blocks have created the following features:
* Phone Creation - this feature gives your customers the ability to call your private-branded interactive voice response system (IVR) from any network: landline, mobile or Skypeâ¢. They then record an audio file that is transcoded to MP3 format and stored on our securely-hosted servers.
* Recorder Creation - this feature gives you an in-browser Flash recorder that you can embed anywhere on your site. Customers turn on their computer mic and simply press "REC" to create an audio file which we convert to MP3. This file is then stored on our servers. Custom Flash recorders can be easily provided to meet your branding and web design requirements.
* Playlist Players - this feature gives you a Flash player that you can embed anywhere on your site. Evoca's media platform streams your audio files upon customer request. Custom Flash players can be easily provided to meet your branding and web design requirements.
* Download Recordings - with this feature you can download recorded MP3 files, edit them and re-upload them to our servers. This tool is how you delete recordings, or edit the length.
* Upload Recordings - with this feature you can upload your own MP3 files and the files you have edited, and we will stream them to your Flash player.
Your company will be issued its own private Customer Portal where you can create branded Flash players and recorders, upload custom voice prompts, set up IVR call flows, and access a developer community.
