What are Evoca Media Services?

Delivered as a web service, Evoca Media Services let you connect to our servers via APIs that you configure and change at any time. There are currently five API types that we offer:

• Phone API - this feature gives your customers the ability to call our IVR from any network: landline, mobile or Skype. They then record an audio file and Evoca transcodes it into MP3 format and stores it on our securely-hosted servers.
• Recorder API - this feature gives you an in-browser Flash recorder that you can embed anywhere on your site. Customers turn on a computer mic and simply press "RECORD" to create an audio file which we convert to MP3. This file is then stored on our servers. Custom Flash recorders can be easily provided to meet your branding and web design requirements.
• Player API - this feature gives you a Flash player that you can embed anywhere on your site. It is to this player that we stream your audio files upon customer request. Custom Flash players can be easily provided to meet your branding and web design requirements.
• Download API - with this feature you can download recorded MP3 files, edit them and re-upload them to our servers. This tool is how you delete recordings, or edit the length. You can also upload your own MP3 files and we will stream them to our Flash player.
• Upload API - with this feature you can upload your own MP3 files and the files you have edited (see Download API above) and we will stream them to our Flash player.

We will provide self-service developer login and online API configuration tools so you can provision and configure your phone numbers, player and recorder "skins", and IVR prompts.
