We are proud to announce our partnership this month with FringeNYC – the second largest theatre festival in the world! We have signed on as their official media podcaster!

All FringeNYC Alumni, Staff, Volunteers, and Fans from the past ten years are invited to record an “I Am FringeNYC” message. It’s simple! Tell a funny story, recall a FringeNYC moment, talk about what makes FringeNYC. . well. . . FringeNYC! Favorites will be featured on FringeNYC.org and here in our Evoca FringeNYC Family Album.

Tell those stories – great successes, performance stresses, who you met, how many hours you volunteered, how many shows you saw, what you learned, and why you came back! All you need to do in order to be included is end your message with “I’m (first name), and I Am FringeNYC”.

There is nothing better than finding out that there is an interesting new member to Evoca. Today saw the addition of Lucia Orjuela, a children’s music writer. She has been especially busy uploading her proprietary children’s music to her page. It is wonderful stuff and is now available for download by the Evoca community.

We thought it might be nice to offer a rough translation of these songs as well.

1. The first tune is about Gasparcito, a dog, and Marujita, a flea! The song tells the story of Gasparcito who after falling into the water, shook so hard he shook Marujita right off his back!
2. The second tune is a precious lullaby about the end of the day and going home to sleep through the night.
3. And the third song is about a small airplane flying over Colombia’s beautiful rivers, mountains, coffee crops, and communities along the countryside.

Last night we made a little noise ourselves as Evoca turned out yet another fantastic new build. This time around we included some very cool features that will allow you to have more control over your personal account as well as your private settings. Among these changes was the ability to QUIT a group you no longer want to be a part of and the options to EDIT almost all of your settings; phone preferences, username, password, etc.

Some other exciting changes and additions are:

• Anweisungen auf Deutsch
• easier ‘post-to-blog’ instructions
• and an expanded HELP section with over twenty-five new entries

The [tag]Group of Eight[/tag] ([tag]G8[/tag]) consists of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Together, these countries represent about 65% of the world economy. The hallmark of the G8 is an annual political summit meeting of the heads of government with international officials, though there are numerous subsidiary meetings and policy research.

The Presidency of the group rotates every year. This year all G8 leaders iare gathering in Saint Petersburg from July 15 to July 17 at the [tag]Palace of Congresses[/tag]. Some of the topics discussed will be Global Energy Security, Education and Infectious diseases.

Evoca has heard several recordings from both inside and around the summit. This is what empowering the voice is all about!

Ultimamente nosotros hemos visto nuevas grabaciones poetica en la pagina. Es maravilloso escuchar y hablar a voz alta de esperanzas, fustraciones, misterios, celebraciones, interrogantes, los misterios y emosiones de la vida.

Nos encantaria ver un grupo de poetas alrededor del mundo empezar a grabar sus poesias y comentarlas con otros,mientras tanto quisieramos compartir algunas de las ultimas poesias ustedes.

As with any web project there are steps to perfection. Here at Evoca we have taken a few more in just the last few days. You may notice a few new features in “My Account” or in the quality of your uploads. That is because our team has been working hard to make Evoca even better for us. As of today you can:

• Edit your username
• See the last time you logged into your profile page
• Receive a warning when you get close to 100% of your recording minutes
• Have the opportunity to purchase more recording minutes (if you are a PRO user)

It is very exciting and we hope you keep coming back even bigger and better improvements!
